Kathmandu, 5 Jan: The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Monday. According to the set rates, the buying rate for one US dollar is 144 rupees 2 paisa and the selling rate is 144 rupees 62 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate for one European Euro is 168 rupees 79 paisa and the selling rate is 169 rupees 49 paisa; the buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is 193 rupees 85 paisa and the selling rate is 194 rupees 66 paisa; and the buying rate for one Swiss Franc is 181 rupees 77 paisa and the selling rate is 182 rupees 53 paisa.
The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is 96 rupees 40 paisa and the selling rate is 96 rupees 80 paisa; the buying rate for one Canadian Dollar is 104 rupees 91 paisa and the selling rate is 105 rupees 34 paisa; and the buying rate for one Singapore Dollar is 111 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate is 112 rupees 43 paisa.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is 9 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 22 paisa; for one Chinese Yuan, the buying rate is 20 rupees 59 paisa and the selling rate is 20 rupees 68 paisa; for one Saudi Arabian Riyal, the buying rate is 38 rupees 40 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 56 paisa; and for one Qatari Riyal, the buying rate is 39 rupees 40 paisa and the selling rate is 39 rupees 57 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is 4 rupees 57 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 59 paisa; for one UAE Dirham, the buying rate is 39 rupees 21 paisa and the selling rate is 39 rupees 38 paisa; for one Malaysian Ringgit, the buying rate is 35 rupees 53 paisa and the selling rate is 35 rupees 67 paisa; for 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is 9 rupees 98 paisa and the selling rate is 10 rupees 3 paisa; for one Swedish Krona, the buying rate is 15 rupees 62 paisa and the selling rate is 15 rupees 68 paisa; and for one Danish Krone, the buying rate is 22 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate is 22 rupees 69 paisa.
The central bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at 18 rupees 48 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 56 paisa; for one Kuwaiti Dinar, the buying rate is 468 rupees 46 paisa and the selling rate is 470 rupees 42 paisa; for one Bahraini Dinar, the buying rate is 382 rupees 2 paisa and the selling rate is 383 rupees 61 paisa; and for one Omani Rial, the buying rate is 374 rupees 7 paisa and the selling rate is 375 rupees 63 paisa. Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is 160 rupees and the selling rate is 160 rupees 15 paisa.
