Kathmandu, 9 February: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currencies for Sunday. According to the Rastra Bank, today the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 139 rupees 59 paisa and the selling rate at 140 rupees 19 paisa. The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at 144 rupees 90 paisa and the selling rate at 145 rupees 52 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been set at 173 rupees 84 paisa and the selling rate at 174 rupees 59 paisa, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at 153 rupees 91 paisa and the selling rate at 154 rupees 57 paisa. The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at 87 rupees 70 paisa and the selling rate at 88 rupees 08 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 97 rupees 43 paisa and the selling rate at 97 rupees 85 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 103 rupees 33 paisa and the selling rate at 103 rupees 77 paisa.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 22 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 19 rupees 15 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 23 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 37 rupees 22 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 38 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 38 rupees 29 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 45 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 15 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 17 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 01 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 17 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 31 rupees 44 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 57 paisa, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 66 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 70 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 83 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 88 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 42 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 51 paisa.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 92 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 00 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 452 rupees 27 paisa and the selling rate at 454 rupees 22 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 370 rupees 27 paisa and the selling rate at 371 rupees 86 paisa, and the buying rate of one Omani rial at 362 rupees 56 paisa and the selling rate at 364 rupees 12 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees and 15 paisa respectively. The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
