The value of these foreign currencies, including the US dollar, increased

Kathmandu, 16th Magh: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currencies for today. According to the fixed exchange rate, the value of the US dollar has increased today as well.

Similarly, the Chinese yuan, Saudi Arabian riyal, Qatari riyal, Hong Kong dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Omani riyal have also seen an increase in their values. The European euro, UK pound sterling, Swiss franc, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar, Japanese yen, Malaysian ringgit, South Korean won, Swedish kronor, and Danish kronor have decreased in their values. Similarly, the values ​​of some foreign currencies have remained stable.

According to the National Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar today is 138 rupees and 14 paisa, and the selling rate is 138 rupees and 74 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one European Euro has been set at 144 rupees 05 paisa and the selling rate at 144 rupees 68 paisa, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at 171 rupees 78 paisa and the selling rate at 172 rupees 53 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at 152 rupees 46 paisa and the selling rate at 153 rupees 12 paisa.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at 86 rupees 32 paisa and the selling rate at 86 rupees 69 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 95 rupees 86 paisa and the selling rate at 96 rupees 28 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 100 rupees 19 paisa and the selling rate at 100 rupees 63 paisa.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 8 rupees 89 paisa and the selling rate is 08 rupees 93 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 05 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 13 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is 36 rupees 83 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 99 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is 37 rupees 89 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 77 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 08 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 10 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 61 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 77 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 31 rupees 45 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 58 paisa, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 56 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 60 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 55 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 61 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 30 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 39 paisa.

The National Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 73 paisa and the selling rate at  17 rupees 81 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 447 rupees 98 paisa and the selling rate at 449 rupees 93 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 366 rupees 42 paisa and the selling rate at 368 rupees 01 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 358 rupees 81 paisa and the selling rate at 360 rupees 36 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.

The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
