Kathmandu, 4 February: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 139 rupees 20 paisa and the selling rate at 139 rupees 80 paisa. The price of the US dollar has risen again today compared to the previous day.
The buying rate of one European Euro is 142 rupees 52 paisa and the selling rate is 143 rupees 13 paisa, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling is 171 rupees 26 paisa and the selling rate is 172 rupees, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc is 151 rupees 77 paisa and the selling rate is 152 rupees 43 paisa. The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 85 rupees 45 paisa and the selling rate is 86 rupees 82 paisa, the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is 94 rupees 72 paisa and the selling rate is 95 rupees 12 paisa, and the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is 101 rupees 74 paisa and the selling rate is 102 rupees 18 paisa.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees and the selling rate is 9 rupees and 4 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 19 rupees and 20 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees and 28 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 37 rupees and 11 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees and 27 paisa, the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 38 rupees and 18 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees and 35 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 4 rupees 9 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 11 paisa, the buying rate for one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 90 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 6 paisa, the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is 31 rupees 11 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 24 paisa, the buying rate for one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 49 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 53 paisa, the buying rate for one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 39 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 45 paisa, and the buying rate for one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 10 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 18 paisa.
The National Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 86 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 94 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 450 rupees 46 paisa and the selling rate at 452 rupees 40 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 369 rupees 22 paisa and the selling rate at 370 rupees 81 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 361 rupees 57 paisa and the selling rate at 363 rupees 13 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
