Prime Minister’s call to support the suffering of the people as a national pain

Kathmandu 15 October: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called on everyone to support the suffering of the people due to floods, landslides and inundation, considering it a national pain. In a press conference held today at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers at Singhdarbar, Prime Minister Oli asked people to support the search, rescue, relief and assistance, considering the pain that the people are experiencing at this time as a common problem.

“This pain is not only for the government, but for the entire society. We are all saddened by the disaster,” Prime Minister Oli said. “Damage has also occurred due to some structural errors. In the future, when the structure is built, a structure that can withstand disasters and will be strong in the long term will be made.”

Prime Minister Oli expressed his commitment to correct such things in the future as there may have been deficiencies in the rescue and search operations due to the large-scale disaster that the government had not previously prepared. He emphasized that the state and the society should make maximum use of the resources and means.
