Iran–Israel War: Nepali Citizens Are Safe

Kathmandu, 15 June: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Nepali citizens currently in Iran and Israel are safe amid the ongoing conflict between the two countries.

Ministry spokesperson and Joint Secretary Krishna Prasad Dhakal said that Nepal is closely monitoring the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel. He added that the Nepali embassies in the respective countries are coordinating with local governments to stay updated on the situation of Nepali nationals, and so far, all Nepalis in both countries have been reported safe.

“The governments there have issued advisories, and Nepalis have been instructed to follow them — which they are doing,” said Dhakal. “Further coordination is ongoing. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is continuously following up, receiving updates, and coordinating with local governments. So far, everything is fine. If any issues arise, necessary actions will be taken.”
