Kathmandu, 31 Aug: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for Sunday.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 140 rupees 82 paisa, and the selling rate at 141 rupees 42 paisa.
The buying rate of one European euro has been set at 164 rupees 24 paisa, and the selling rate at 164 rupees 94 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at 189 rupees 49 paisa, and the selling rate at 190 rupees 29 paisa. The buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at 175 rupees 51 paisa, and the selling rate at 176 rupees 26 paisa.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 91 rupees 93 paisa, and the selling rate at 92 rupees 32 paisa. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been set at 102 rupees 42 paisa, and the selling rate at 102 rupees 85 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been fixed at 109 rupees 56 paisa, and the selling rate at 110 rupees 02 paisa.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been set at 9 rupees 57 paisa, and the selling rate at 9 rupees 61 paisa. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan has been fixed at 19 rupees 74 paisa, and the selling rate at 19 rupees 83 paisa. Likewise, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal has been set at 37 rupees 53 paisa, and the selling rate at 37 rupees 69 paisa. The buying rate of one Qatari riyal has been fixed at 38 rupees 63 paisa, and the selling rate at 38 rupees 79 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at 4 rupees 34 paisa, and the selling rate at 4 rupees 36 paisa. The buying rate of one UAE dirham has been set at 38 rupees 34 paisa, and the selling rate at 38 rupees 50 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at 33 rupees 33 paisa, and the selling rate at 33 rupees 47 paisa.
The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been determined at 10 rupees 12 paisa, and the selling rate at 10 rupees 16 paisa. Likewise, the buying rate of one Swedish krona has been fixed at 14 rupees 87 paisa, and the selling rate at 14 rupees 93 paisa. The buying rate of one Danish krone has been set at 22 rupees, and the selling rate at 22 rupees 10 paisa.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 18 rupees 06 paisa, and the selling rate at 18 rupees 14 paisa. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar has been set at 460 rupees 74 paisa, and the selling rate at 462 rupees 70 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar has been determined at 373 rupees 53 paisa, and the selling rate at 375 rupees 12 paisa. The buying rate of one Omani riyal has been fixed at 365 rupees 77 paisa, and the selling rate at 367 rupees 33 paisa. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at 160 rupees, and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as necessary. It has also mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and that the updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
