Kathmandu, 18 April: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for Thursday. Today, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 137.79, and the selling rate at NPR 137.39. The buying rate for one Euro is NPR 155.51 and the selling rate is NPR 156.19. The buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is NPR 181.56, and the selling rate is NPR 182.36. For one Swiss Franc, the buying rate is NPR 167.46 and the selling rate is NPR 168.19.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 87.20, and the selling rate is NPR 87.58. For one Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 98.30 and the selling rate is NPR 98.74. One Singapore Dollar is being bought at NPR 104.13 and sold at NPR 104.59. The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.59, and the selling rate is NPR 9.63. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 18.72 and a selling rate of NPR 18.81.
For one Saudi Arabian Riyal, the buying rate is NPR 36.45 and the selling rate is NPR 36.61. The buying rate for one Qatari Riyal is NPR 37.53 and the selling rate is NPR 37.69. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is NPR 4.12 and the selling rate is NPR 4.13. One UAE Dirham is being bought at NPR 37.24 and sold at NPR 37.40. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 31.01 and a selling rate of NPR 31.15.
The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9.64 and the selling rate is NPR 9.69. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 13.93 and a selling rate of NPR 14.00, while the Danish Krone’s buying rate is NPR 20.83 and selling rate is NPR 20.92.
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 17.63 and the selling rate at NPR 17.71. The buying rate for one Kuwaiti Dinar is NPR 446.24 and the selling rate is NPR 448.20. The buying rate for one Bahraini Dinar is NPR 362.87 and the selling rate is NPR 364.46. For one Omani Rial, the buying rate is NPR 355.30 and the selling rate is NPR 356.86.
For 100 Indian Rupees, the buying rate is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
