Kathmandu, November 17: National Musicians Association District Working Committee Nuwakot and Mangsam Youth Savings Fund has provided Rs 80,000 (eighty thousand) cash support to Pasang Maya Tamang, a 6-year-old brain tumor patient of Faparkhel Nuwakot located in Ward No. 3 of Dupcheshwar Rural Municipality.
According to an appeal for financial support for the health treatment of a sick girl who has been ill for a long time, financial support was provided last week under the initiative and leadership of Dupcheswar's social worker artist as well as president of the National Musicians Association Nuwakot, Biki Lama and social worker Sandesh Tamang.
Sandesh Tamang and Biki Lama have said that they have given financial support to them because they are spending a lot of money for the treatment and because the financial situation is not strong, they may cause problems in the treatment. After reaching the patient's house, the team of Mangsam Youth Savings Fund and National Musicians Union Nuwakot handed over the money. The team said that the Mangsam Youth Savings Fund was created for the cause of social change, development and happiness.
And, the National Musicians Association is also an organization that has been continuously providing social service and cultural contributions. Biki Lama expressed his gratitude to the team and everyone of both organizations for helping each other in such a difficult time.
