Rastriya Swatantra Party RSP leading in several Constituencies

Kathmandu, 6 March: As vote counting continues for the House of Representatives election 2082 held on Thursday, candidates from the Rastriya Swatantra Party have taken the lead in several constituencies.

According to the preliminary results, Ranju Neupane is leading in Kathmandu-1 with 9,078 votes. In Kathmandu-8, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha is ahead with 7,617 votes, while Pradeep Bista is leading in Kathmandu-10 with 6,042 votes.

Similarly, Sasmit Pokharel is leading in Kathmandu-5 with 3,700 votes, Pukar Bam in Kathmandu-4 with 2,529 votes, Ganesh Parajuli in Kathmandu-7 with 2,833 votes, and Shishir Khanal in Kathmandu-6 with 2,238 votes.

In other constituencies, Santosh Rajbanshi is leading in Morang-4 with 3,885 votes, Manish Jha in Dhanusha-3 with 3,914 votes, and Sulabh Kharel in Rupandehi-2 with 4,072 votes.

In Chitwan-2, Rabi Lamichhane is ahead with 2,025 votes, while Sobita Gautam is leading in Chitwan-3 with 925 votes. In Kaski-1, Khadak Raj Paudel has 1,978 votes, Uttam Prasad Paudel in Kaski-2 with 2,417 votes, and Bina Gurung in Kaski-3 with 2,074 votes.

Likewise, Swarnim Wagle is ahead in Tanahun-1 with 1,352 votes, Devraj Pathak in Dang-1 with 1,516 votes, Suresh Kumar Chaudhary in Banke-1 with 2,574 votes, and Khagendra Sunar in Banke-3 with 1,369 votes.

Similarly, Balen Shah is leading in Jhapa-5 with 1,476 votes, Yagyamani Neupane in Morang-1 with 2,269 votes, Asha Jha in Morang-5 with 1,229 votes, Arbind Sah in Bara-3 with 2,160 votes, Rukesh Ranjit in Bhaktapur-1 with 888 votes, and Rajiv Khatri in Bhaktapur-2 with 2,000 votes.

In Lalitpur-3, Tosima Karki is leading with 648 votes, while Jagdish Kharel is ahead in Lalitpur-2 with 228 votes. Ganesh Paudel is leading in Rautahat-4 with 443 votes.

Meanwhile, Deepak Raj Bohara is ahead in Kanchanpur-2 with 1,380 votes, and Gyanendra Singh Mahata in Kanchanpur-3 with 129 votes.

According to the Election Commission Nepal, vote counting is ongoing at various centers across the country, and results will be announced gradually.

In the closely watched Jhapa-5, the candidate is leading by more than double the votes compared to former Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli.
