Kathmandu, 17 Feb: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Tuesday. According to the fixed rates, the buying rate for one US Dollar is set at 144 rupees 75 paisa, and the selling rate at 145 rupees 35 paisa.
Similarly, for one European Euro, the buying rate is 171 rupees 74 paisa and the selling rate is 172 rupees 45 paisa. For one UK Pound Sterling, the buying rate is 197 rupees 55 paisa and the selling rate is 198 rupees 37 paisa. For one Swiss Franc, the buying rate is 188 rupees 02 paisa and the selling rate is 188 rupees 80 paisa.
For one Australian Dollar, the buying rate is 102 rupees 50 paisa and the selling rate is 102 rupees 92 paisa. For one Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is 106 rupees 24 paisa and the selling rate is 106 rupees 68 paisa. For one Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is 114 rupees 70 paisa and the selling rate is 115 rupees 17 paisa.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is 9 rupees 43 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 47 paisa. For one Chinese Yuan, the buying rate is 20 rupees 95 paisa and the selling rate is 21 rupees 04 paisa. For one Saudi Arabian Riyal, the buying rate is 38 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 76 paisa. For one Qatari Riyal, the buying rate is 39 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate is 39 rupees 77 paisa.
According to the central bank, for one Thai Baht, the buying rate is 4 rupees 65 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 67 paisa. For one UAE Dirham, the buying rate is 39 rupees 41 paisa and the selling rate is 39 rupees 57 paisa. For one Malaysian Ringgit, the buying rate is 37 rupees 12 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 27 paisa. For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is 10 rupees 03 paisa and the selling rate is 10 rupees 07 paisa. For one Swedish Krona, the buying rate is 16 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate is 16 rupees 25 paisa. For one Danish Krona, the buying rate is 22 rupees 99 paisa and the selling rate is 23 rupees 08 paisa.
The central bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at 18 rupees 52 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 60 paisa. For one Kuwaiti Dinar, the buying rate is 474 rupees 36 paisa and the selling rate is 476 rupees 32 paisa. For one Bahraini Dinar, the buying rate is 383 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate is 385 rupees 55 paisa. For one Omani Riyal, the buying rate is 376 rupees and the selling rate is 377 rupees 56 paisa. Similarly, for 100 Indian Rupees, the buying rate is 160 rupees and the selling rate is 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as necessary. It has been mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
