Kathmandu, 27 Jan: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Tuesday. According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 146.81 and the selling rate at NPR 147.41.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is NPR 174.01 and the selling rate NPR 174.72. The UK pound sterling has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 200.65 and a selling rate of NPR 201.47. The Swiss franc is set at NPR 188.73 for buying and NPR 189.50 for selling.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is NPR 101.54 and the selling rate NPR 101.96. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at NPR 107.29 for buying and NPR 107.72 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at a buying rate of NPR 115.65 and a selling rate of NPR 116.12.
For Japanese yen, the rate for 10 units is NPR 9.55 for buying and NPR 9.59 for selling. The Chinese yuan has been set at a buying rate of NPR 21.11 and a selling rate of NPR 21.20. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at NPR 39.15 for buying and NPR 39.31 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is fixed at NPR 40.28 for buying and NPR 40.45 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 4.72 and a selling rate of NPR 4.74. The UAE dirham stands at NPR 39.97 for buying and NPR 40.13 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is set at NPR 37.02 for buying and NPR 37.17 for selling. The South Korean won (100 units) has been fixed at NPR 10.17 for buying and NPR 10.22 for selling. The Swedish krona stands at NPR 16.40 for buying and NPR 16.46 for selling, while the Danish krone is fixed at NPR 23.30 for buying and NPR 23.39 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 18.83 and the selling rate at NPR 18.90. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at NPR 481.27 for buying and NPR 483.23 for selling. The Bahraini dinar has been fixed at NPR 389.39 for buying and NPR 390.98 for selling, while the Omani riyal is set at NPR 381.35 for buying and NPR 382.91 for selling. Similarly, the Indian rupee (100 units) has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 160 and a selling rate of NPR 160.15.
