Kathmandu, 14 Jan: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday. According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 144.01 and the selling rate at NPR 144.61.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is NPR 168.03 and the selling rate NPR 168.73; the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is NPR 194.00 and the selling rate NPR 194.81; and the buying rate of one Swiss franc is NPR 180.38 and the selling rate NPR 181.14.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is NPR 96.47 and the selling rate NPR 96.87; the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is NPR 103.73 and the selling rate NPR 104.17; and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is NPR 111.87 and the selling rate NPR 112.34.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.06 and the selling rate NPR 9.10; the buying rate of one Chinese yuan is NPR 20.64 and the selling rate NPR 20.73; the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is NPR 38.40 and the selling rate NPR 38.56; and the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is NPR 39.40 and the selling rate NPR 39.56.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is NPR 4.58 and the selling rate NPR 4.60; the buying rate of one UAE dirham is NPR 39.21 and the selling rate NPR 39.37; the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is NPR 35.49 and the selling rate NPR 35.64; the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is NPR 9.77 and the selling rate NPR 9.81; the buying rate of one Swedish krona is NPR 15.69 and the selling rate NPR 15.76; and the buying rate of one Danish krone is NPR 22.49 and the selling rate NPR 22.58.
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 18.46 and the selling rate at NPR 18.53; the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at NPR 470.93 and the selling rate at NPR 472.89; the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at NPR 382.00 and the selling rate at NPR 383.60; and the buying rate of one Omani riyal at NPR 374.05 and the selling rate at NPR 375.61. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It has also informed that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and that the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
