Foreign currency exchange rate: which has decreased and which has increased

Kathmandu, 19 November: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign currency exchange rate for Tuesday. According to the information released by the Central Bank, the value of the US dollar, Euro, and Sterling pound has decreased somewhat. The value of Bahraini dinar, Kuwaiti dinar and Qatari riyal has also decreased. According to the details, on Monday, the buying rate of one American dollar was 134 rupees 74 paisa, and the selling rate was 135 rupees 34 paisa. For Tuesday, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 134 rupees 72 paisa, and the selling rate is 135 rupees 32 paisa.

On Monday, the buying rate of European Euro One was 142 rupees 4 paisa, and the selling rate was 142 rupees 67 paisa. For Tuesday, the buying rate of Euro 1 has been fixed at 141 rupees 96 paisa, and the selling rate is 142 rupees 59 paisa. On Monday, the buying rate of one pound sterling was 170 rupees 4 paisa and the selling rate was 170 rupees 80 paisa. For Tuesday, the buying rate of one pound sterling has been fixed at 169 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate is 170 rupees 72 paisa. The central bank said that the buying rate of one Swiss franc is 151 rupees 76 paisa, the selling rate is 152 rupees 44 paisa, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is 86 rupees 89 paisa, and the selling rate is 87 rupees 28 paisa.

The exchange rate has been fixed so that the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is 95 rupees 57 paisa, the selling rate is 96 rupees, the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 100 rupees 16 paisa, and the selling rate is 100 rupees 61 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese yen 10 has been fixed at eight rupees 69 paisa, and the selling rate has been fixed at eight rupees 73 paisa. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan is 18 rupees 60 paisa, the selling rate is 18 rupees 68 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi riyal is 35 rupees 89 paisa, the selling rate is 36 rupees 5 paisa, the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is 36 rupees 94 paisa, and the selling rate is 37 rupees 10 paisa. 

Similarly, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 3 rupees 87 paisa, the selling rate is 3 rupees 88 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 36 rupees 68 paisa, and the selling rate is 36 rupees 84 paisa. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 30 rupees 7 paisa, the selling rate is 30 rupees 20 paisa, the buying rate of South Korean one hundred is 9 rupees 63 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 68 paisa.

The buying rate of one Swedish kroner is 12 rupees 23 paisa, the selling rate is 12 rupees 29 paisa, the buying rate of one Danish kroner is 19 rupees 3 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 12 paisa, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is 17 rupees 31 paisa and the selling rate is 17 rupees 38 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is 437 rupees 86 paisa and the selling rate is 439 rupees 81 paisa, and the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is 357 rupees 40 paisa and the selling rate is 358 rupees 99 paisa, according to the Central Bank.

The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is said that the exchange rate set by the commercial bank may be different and the updated exchange rate will be available on the Central Bank’s website.
