Kathmandu,30 October: Angela Tumbapo Subba, captain of the Nepali national women's football team, has said that she will enter the field with the goal of keeping the South Asian Football Federation (SAF) Women's Championship title at home. We have not yet won the SAFF Championship title. In the past, we lost to Bangladesh in the last edition due to India becoming a champion many times in the past, Angela said, "this time we will enter the field with the campaign to keep the title at home."
She said that Nepal will have to wait another 8-10 years for the title if they do not win the final match on Wednesday. Now we have a golden opportunity. We are in line for wining. We have won for runners-up five times. This time we will keep the title at home.
Rajendra Tamang, the head coach of the Nepali team, said that they will win the title without repeating the mistakes of the past in the final. "Even though we have played the final five times, we have not won the title yet". So this time we have made a campaign to win the title anyway. The players are also full of confidence', the head coach Tamang said, 'For this reason, the mistakes made in the past should not be repeated.

Bangladesh coach Peter Butler said that the final match will be very competitive. We are former winners. So the biggest challenge is for us. So the final match will be interesting and exciting", coach Peter said, "we play good football. Likewise, captain Savina Khatun said that the Bangladesh team has been strong lately and even if the performance has improved, it will be difficult in the finals. Nepal is a very strong opponent. Nepal's game this time is much better than the previous edition. That's why it is not easy for us to play the final with Nepal", she said, "Our young players are also playing well. The whole team is in high performance. Therefore, our entire focus will be on the title.
The final match of the seventh edition of the SAFF Championship will be held on Wednesday at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar. In the semi-final, Nepal defeated India and Bangladesh defeated Bhutan to reach the final. While Nepal defeated five-time winners India by 4-2 in the tiebreaker, Bangladesh beat Bhutan 7-1 to reach the finals.
