Golgau / Bethanchok Rural Municipality Ward No. 6: Bal Unnati Basic School located in Golgau celebrated its 64th foundation day with a variety of programs.
During the event, students showcased their talents, and awards were given to those who excelled in various activities throughout the year by Ward Chairman Bishnu Tamang. He encouraged all schools in the ward to focus on both educational and extracurricular activities. Chairman Tamang expressed confidence that the rural municipality will continue to invest in community school education and urged teachers to put in more effort.
The program also involved parents in various activities, and Principal Rekha Rana presented her report. She affirmed the school’s commitment to excellent teaching and learning despite limited resources. School Management Committee Chairman Ram Bahadur Tamang noted that the annual celebration provided an opportunity to bring parents to the school and mentioned that similar events will be organized regularly. The event saw participation from School Management Committee and Parent-Teacher Committee officials, as well as parents.
