Parvati Multipurpose Campus in Bethanchok Rural Municipality celebrated its 11th anniversary with various programs. The event, held under the chief guestship of the Chairperson of the Rural Municipality, Bhagwan Adhikari, featured his address where he congratulated the campus for starting a new year. He acknowledged the campus as a pride of the rural municipality and highlighted the unique challenges faced by educational institutions in rural areas. He also pointed out the increasing trend of students leaving for foreign countries, which presents future challenges.
Adhikari emphasized that education should bring about practical changes in behavior and urged the campus team to focus on providing life-oriented education. He stressed the importance of investing in education and highlighted that practical and meaningful education should be the future goal. He expressed his readiness to collaborate with the campus to improve the learning environment and address the needs of students.
The program was chaired by Vinod Timilsina, Chairman of the Campus Management Committee, who presented the campus activities and future plans. The event saw the presence of former Chairperson of Bethanchok Rural Municipality Prem Bahadur Timilsina, Associate Professor of Bagmati Province, and other notable figures including Madhav Prasad Timilsina, Ishwari Ojha, and Founder Principal of Parvati Secondary School Govinda Sharma. They all wished for the campus’s progress and success.
The program was attended by various officials, including Rajendra Bhandari, Chief Administrative Officer of Bethanchok Rural Municipality, and ward chairs from different wards. Recognitions were given to V.Ed and M.Ed graduates, land donors, contributors, former teachers, and other distinguished individuals.
